ArtfantastixA huge update has been made to the website.
As regular visitors will notice, the website has undergone a major re-write with significant changes to its layout and overall design, the pages and images have all been renamed, therefore previous links will no longer work.
As this is likely to be the final iteration of the site I have made every effort to ensure that the current version is as polished and complete as possible.
For some time I've been dissatisfied with many of the images on the site — scanned using inferior equipment and poor technique, they have rightly been criticised as too dark and too small. To address this, I have re-scanned almost all of my library, enhancing the image size, quality and resolution.
Images collected from sources outside my library have been rescaled using AI-based upscaling techniques. There is a limit to how much quality can be improved this way, particularly as some images were very small and of very low resolution — in such cases the improvement may be less noticeable. This approach also raises the question of how much of the final image is original art and how much is AI enhancement. I apologise if, on occasion, I have taken this approach too far.
The images displayed on-screen are optimized for faster page loading, To obtain the highest quality I recommend preview the required image and use the download button provided.
Thank you for your continued support and interest in the website. I hope you enjoy the improvements and the enhanced visual experience. This is a huge undertaking for one person, it is inevitable that there will be some imperfections. I would greatly appreciate your reporting of any issues you encounter.
